Sayari is a data intelligence and anti-money laundering software company[1] based in Washington, D.C.[2] Its product, Sayari Graph, gives users the ability to comb through financial and corporate data to derive insights about business entities to comply with financial regulations and conduct investigations.[2]

The company aims to help multinational corporations, financial institutions, and government agencies[3] fight financial crime and corruption.[2] It was founded in 2015 by Farley Mesko and Benjamin Power.[2]

History[edit]

In September 2021, Sayari raised $40 million[4] in a Series C[2] funding round, represented by Manatt[5]. The fundraising round was led by Centana Growth Partners of Palo Alto, CA; Lavrock Ventures of McLean, VA; and SAP NS2 of Herndon, VA. Other investors included Arsenal Growth Equity of Winter Park, Florida; TFX Capital of Fort Mill, South Carolina; and MissionOG of Philadelphia[6]. The Series C funding will be used to increase transparency in global financial and trade flows.[2]

The company's Series B funding round raised $9 million[7] in January 2020. In July of 2020, the company raised an additional $2.5 million.[8]
