Scott Pilgrim is an upcoming action adventure romantic comedy anime developed by Bryan Lee O'Malley and BenDavid Grabinski for Netflix. The series is based on the Scott Pilgrim graphic novels written and drawn by O'Malley.

Development
In January 2022, it was announced that Netflix and Universal Content Productions were developing an anime series based upon the Scott Pilgrim graphic novels by Bryan Lee O'Malley.
O'Malley will also serve as showrunner, writer, and executive producer alongside BenDavid Grabinski, with Abel Góngora serving as director. Edgar Wright and Michael Bacall, who previously directed and wrote the 2010 live-action film adaptation respectively, would also be coming on board as executive producers. Science Saru will provide animation services for the series.[1]
In March 2023, it was announced that the series had officially received a green-light and that the original cast from the 2010 film adaptation would reprise their roles for the series.[2]
Music
Joseph Trapanese will serve as the composer for the series, while Anamanaguchi, who provided music for the video game adaption, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game, will be providing songs for the series while working with Trapanese.[3]
