Senthil Nathan

Senthil Nathan is a Consultant Urological Surgeon and honorary Senior Lecturer in University College London Hospital (UCLH).[1][2] Along with Late Dr John Wickham and colleagues from The Imperial College he developed The Probot, and carried out the first true robotic surgery in the world.[1][3][4] He is a director of Robotic Education in Chitra Sethia Centre for Robotics and Minimally Invasive Surgery[5].
He was born on 17 April 1958 in Salem, Tamil Nadu, India. He has completed MBBS from Madras University, Masters in Surgery from Banglore University, Special training from Royal College of Surgeons of England, FRCS from Yorkshire, M Phil from Imperial College.[6] [7][8]
