Shkumbin Ismaili (born 8 October 1985 in Tetovë, North Macedonia) is an Albanian pop rock singer, songwriter, and record producer.[1] His unique style, with a rock formula combined with traditional motifs, made his fame rise astronomically.[2]
Life and career
Shkumbin Ismaili was born on 8 October 1985 into an Albanian family in the city of Tetovo, North Macedonia.[3] His father, Amet Ismaili, was also a traditional singer and music event manager. He also participated in many traditional music festivals.[4] In 2006, Shkumbin Ismaili made his first appearance on stage in a festival called Top Fest Albania (third edition) with Ti Largohesh.[5] In 2007 and 2008, he also attended Top Fest with Vargjet E fundit and E Bukura ime.[6] From the beginning of his career, he has been part of many national and international cultural music events all around the Albanian Diaspora [7]
