Oni Onashile professionally known as Shyboss is a Nigerian entrepreneur,[1] realtor,[2] songwriter and producer.
Early Life[edit]
Onashile set up a local call-centre shop at the age of 14 in front of his father's home and by the age of 17, he had purchased his first car.[3] He graduated with a degree in Building from the University of Lagos.[3]
Career[edit]
In 2009, Onashile founded Funbeeb Events, an events management and entertainment company, alongside his older brother, Habib and at the age of 23, he became a member of the Board of Directors of Confident Pathway Limited.[2]
In November 2015, Onashile made his music debut, under the moniker Shyboss with the release of the single, Kilode. [4] The song was produced by Kiddominant.[5] Onashile featured BNaira on a new single Luggage in June 2016,[6] after which he teamed up with producer Kiddominant again on the song Nene.[7]
Onashile took a hiatus from music to focus on his business concerns[1] and in September 2019, he announced his decision to embark on a philanthropic program, providing back to school packs for underprivileged children in a scheme he tagged Back2School.[3] He also announced the release of a single BNS, named after his management company, BNS Management Company.[1]
