Silly Monks Entertainment Ltd is one of India’s biggest digital content publishing, distribution, entertainment and production company with the largest YouTube Multi-Channel Network[1] in South India. We are the one-stop place for content production, marketing and distribution with the high standard market experience in the entertainment industry.

History

One day, a Television veteran Sanjay Reddy and a New Media geek Anil Pallala got together and decided to do something silly in digital media. And SillyMonks[2] was founded on 20th September 2013, with angel funding from Sai Korrapati, owner of a leading film production house Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram, and thus began the journey with the distribution of Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram films. Fast forward three years, and today we have partnered with over 50 south Indian production houses to help them build a digital presence, and develop business in the digital distribution network space. We are proud to say that SillyMonks[3] steered digital marketing for films like 'I' (Tamil), Rudhramadevi (Telugu), Peruchazhi (Malayalam), Gautamiputra Satakarni (Telugu), Guntur Talkies (Telugu), George Reddy (Telugu) and many more.

Silly Monks[4] didn’t want to stop at movies and at this stage for take-off, another angel investor Sreenivasa Musani of Ektha Group gave us the required thrust & fuel to take off into uncharted territories and that’s when we decided to take things a little further. We started working more closely with original content creators, and Silly Monks is now the youngest, smallest, and one of the most lovable of India’s YouTube MCNs (Multi Channel Networks), handling 600+ channels. Silly Monks[5] shared a wonderful journey with our creators, and look forward to many more successful partnerships to come. Check out some of our top original creators here: Hyderabad Diaries, PapaPSusheela, Street Byte, Vidyafy, Sumakka, Kiraak Hyderabadiz.
