Silversmith Capital Partners is a growth equity investment firm based in Boston, Massachusetts (U.S.). It was founded in 2015 by alumni from Bain Capital and Spectrum Equity, and closed its first fund that year, a $460 million fund to invest in technology and healthcare businesses. In January 2018, Silversmith raised its second growth equity fund, a $670 million fund. In September 2020, the firm raised its third growth equity fund, an $880 million fund[1] and in July 2022, it raised a fourth growth equity fund, a $1.3 billion fund.[2] In 2020 and 2021,[3] Silversmith was named a Top 25 Growth Equity Investor by Growthcap Advisors.[4]

Silversmith Capital Partners was launched in 2015 by Todd MacLean and Jeff Crisan, former managing directors with Bain Capital Ventures, Jim Quagliaroli, former managing director of Spectrum Equity, and Lori Whelan, a former Bain & Company consultant.[5]
