Amaopu-Senibo Sir Siminaliaye Joseph Fubara, also known as Sim Fubara born in 1979 is a Nigerian politician and seasoned accountant of Opobo extraction. He was a career civil servant and rose through the ranks to become the Permanent Secretary Rivers State Ministry of Finance and was later appointed the Accountant General of Rivers State by His Excellency Chief Barr. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike , the Executive Governor of Rivers State.[1][2] Sim Fubara resigned his position to contest and won the gubernatorial primaries of his party. He is now the People's Democratic Party candidate for the 2023 Rivers State gubernatorial election [3][4]
