Sirajudheen KP is an Indian film producer who works in the Malayalam film industry. He is the founder of the film production company 7J Films. The company's first production was Charminar (2018), a crime drama film directed by Ajith C. Logesh and starring Ashwin Kumar, Hemanth Menon and Harshika Poonacha in the lead roles.[1] Sirajudheen had a cameo appearance in the film.[2]

Their next release Vaanku was based on the 2018 short story of the same name by Unni R.[3] Co-produced by Shimoga Creations, Trends Ad Film Makers, and Unni R., the film stars Anaswara Rajan as Rasiya, a girl who desires to sing aloud Adhan, the Islamic summons to prayer.[4] The film which was initially set to release on March 2020, saw a delayed release owing to the Coronavirus outbreak on January 2021.[5][6][7] Sajin Shrijith of The New Indian Express called Vaanku a "fairly bold film with good intention", but one which "lacks the necessary clarity".[8] Contrarily, Deepa Soman of The Times of India hailed the film for being "an unorthodox take on tradition". She rated the film 3.5 stars on a scale of 5, stating that, "it sets you thinking about how much more women have to fight sexism especially within their families and how more should speak up rather than staying quiet."[9] Prasad Kannan of Malayala Manorama also praised Kavya Prakash for "neatly handling her debut film", which "depicts a story that holds great relevance for the current generation."[10]
