Snwazna Adams (born 1987 in Providenciales) is a beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe Turks and Caicos 2013 and represented the Turks & Caicos at the Miss Universe 2013 Pageant.[1]

Early life[edit]

At 26, Snwazna spent the majority of her life on the Island of Providenciales. Currently she is employed at her alma mater, the Clement Howell High School. Snwazna's heritage mainly stems from Grand Turk and North Caicos. After completing high school, she went abroad to St. Thomas University in Miami Gardens, Florida, United States.[2] where she obtained a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education, her major was Biology. She enrolled at Nova Southeastern University and obtained a Master of Science degree.

At an early age, Snwazna developed an interest in softball. She is currently a member of the Panthers Night League team and Cheerleading Coach at Clement Howell High School.

Miss Turks and Caicos 2013[edit]

Snwazna Adams, who stands 1.80 m (5 ft 11 in), competed as one of the finalists in her island's national beauty pageant Miss Universe Turks and Caicos 2013, held on April 26 and 27 2013 at the Williams Auditorium in Providenciales. Adams gained the right to represent her country in Miss Universe 2013. As the winner of Miss Universe Turks and Caicos 2013, Snwazna will gain affiliation with several island organizations as an ambassador and spokesperson.
