Sohan Lal Commodity Management (SLCM) is an Agritech company based in India that offers warehousing services for agriculture commodities, fumigation, testing and certification.[1][2][3][4]
History[edit]
SLCM was founded in 2009 in New Delhi, it operates in India and Myanmar.[5] Sandeep Sabharwal is the current CEO of SLCM Group.[6][7][8]
In 2015, SLCM raised INR100 crores in the fourth round of private equity funding.[9]
In 2019, SLCM partnered with State bank of India (SBI) for collateral management and warehousing services,[10] SLCM has similar agreements with HDFC Bank and IndusInd Bank.[11]
In July 2021, SLCM partnered with State Government of Madhya Pradesh to provide Preservation, Management and Security (PMS) of food grain stock.[12]
In 2022, SLCM launched its mobile app “Agri Reach” for crop monitoring that received the accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Testing & Calibration Laboratories (NABL).[13] That same year, SLCM got the patent for its Method for real time data management from Indian government.[14][15]
Sohan Lal Commodity Management received the ‘Sustainable Agriculture Awards’ from Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry fin the year 2021 and 2022.[16]
