Sonia Aimiwu known by her stage name Sonia Aimy, (born April 11, 1979) in Benin city,Edo state, is a Nigerian Jazz [1][2][3] and a Highlife singer. [4][5] In 2018, she won the monarch’s prestigious Obaland Awards, also known as Africa Grammy Award, under the international category of “Obaland Royal Award” for Edo State/Diaspora Best female humanitarian honour.[6]
