Sonia Yasmin Ali (Bengali: সোনিয়া ইয়াসমীন আলী; born 15 September 1982), also known professionally as SYA, is an English model, singer, photographer, fitness trainer and health coach.

Early life[edit]

Ali was born in Hammersmith, London, England to a Bangladeshi father and an English mother and brought up in Essex.[1][2][3][4]


Ali is a professional model and presenter as well as founder and CEO of fitness motivation website, www.MyGymspiration.com.[1][2]

Ali is signed with nine agencies, she has catwalked for BBC2, featured on 50 Cent's music video "Ayo Technology", shot for the 2008 Ferrari calendar and was in a TRESemmé commercial.[5][6][7][8][9]
