Soolai (Tamil: சூளை) is a neighbourhood in Erode district of Tamil Nadu state in the peninsular India.[1][2][3][4] Central Excise and Customs office is situated at Soolai.[5]
Soolai is located at an altitude of about 199 m above the mean sea level with the geographical coordinates of 11°21′26″N 77°41′42″E / 11.357300°N 77.695100°E

Soolai area falls under the Erode East Assembly constituency.[7] As the winner of the election held in the year 2021, Thirumagan Evera passed away, By-election for this assembly constituency is to be held on 27 February 2023, by the Election Commission of India. Also, this area belongs to Erode Lok Sabha constituency. The winner of the election held in the year 2019, as the member of its Lok Sabha constituency is A. Ganeshamurthi.[8]
