Sowmyaa Menon is an Indian film actress who predominantly appears in Malayalam films. She made her movie debut in the 2018 Malayalam film Kinavalli.[2] Her career advanced as she played the leading role in the popular Malayalam movie Children's Park followed by movies like Margamkali and Fancy Dress[3]
Early Life and Career
Sowmya pursued her Bachelor's degree in Commerce and later her Master's degree in Commerce from Christ College, Irinjalakuda, Thrissur. Sowmya got her first opportunity to act in front of the camera by featuring in the hit Malayalam music video ‘Vannathi’ from the album ‘Mizhineer.’[4]
Personal life
Sowmyaa discovered her true love for acting at the young age of four and with the support and motivation from her family she began her pursuit for her love of cinema. Sowmya is a trained dancer in the Indian classical dance form called Bharatanatyam as well as Kathak and has undergone training since she was eight years old.[5]

Sowmyaa Menon is currently shooting in Barcelona Spain for her special role in Sarkaru Vaari Paata which is an upcoming Indian Telugu language action comedy film written and directed by Parasuram. Jointly produced by Mythri Movie Makers, 14 Reels Plus and G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment, the film stars Mahesh Babu and Keerthy Suresh.[8]
