Space Jamz: 5 Bands 1 Practice Space is a compilation album released by the American record label Sniffling Indie Kids.
Content[edit]
The five-track compilation album was released on compact disc and digital download by Sniffling Indie Kids, the label's first release, on 18 October 2014. It contains unreleased songs from five bands who shared the same practice space in Clifton, New Jersey, All Sensory Void, France, Holy City Zoo, Lake Effect and NGHTCRWLRS.[1][2] Recording and engineering are by Max Rauch, Joe Lanza, and Brian DePhillis, and mixing is by Jeremy Cimino at Park Studios. Album artwork is by Keith Williams. A statement by the label notes "the practice space is where the true machinations of every band are worked out," and holds "moments of utter transcendence and moments of absolute frustration[,] and the only thing that really matters is the music[.] It's a celebration of New Jersey's indie rock scene and a glimpse into our musical world."[3]
The record release show for Space Jamz: 5 Bands 1 Practice Space was at Smacktone Studios in Woodland Park, New Jersey at 7 P.M., 18 October 2014, with performances by All Sensory Void, France, Holy City Zoo, Lake Effect and NGHTCRWLRS.
