Shenzhen Airlines Flight 9648 was a scheduled domestic passenger flight operated by Shenzhen Airlines from Taizhou Luqiao Airport, China to Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, China. On 26 July 2015, a male passenger on board attemped to set fire to the aircraft cabin before being overpowered by the crew.[lower-alpha 1]
Background
The aircraft involved was an Airbus A320-232 with the registration B-6613, and was delivered to Shenzhen Airlines in 2010.[18]

Videos surfaced around the media after the incident which shows the man setting fire to the aircraft.[19]
