Spendesk is a French unicorn.[1][2] created in [3] and specialized in spend management for businesses[4]. It is one of the 40 tech companies in the French government's "French Tech Next40/120" program[5].

History

Spendesk was founded at Paris startup studio eFounders in 2016 by Rodolphe Ardant[6], Guilhem Bellion and Jordane Giuly[7]

In July 2021, the company raised €100 million in a round led by General Atlantic[8]. It is reported that Spendesk increased its turnover as well as losses in 2020[9]

In January 2022, the company raised a further €100 million with Tiger Global and became the 26th French unicorn[10], with a valuation of more than USD$1.5 billion.[11]​​
