Splashtop Inc. (previously named DeviceVM Inc.[1][2]) is a privately held software company founded in 2006 and headquartered in Silicon Valley with offices in Taiwan and China.
The firm has raised over $45M in venture capital from DFJ Dragon,[3] Sumitomo, Presidio Ventures,[4] WR Hambrecht Ventures,[5] Storm Ventures, New Enterprise Associates, and SAP AG.[6]

Company History[edit]
Splashtop Inc.'s (then DeviceVM Inc.) first product, named Splashtop OS, was an ‘instant-on’ Linux-based computing platform designed for fast, efficient computing. The company partners with OEMs and manufacturers to integrate its core technology into personal computers worldwide.[14]
Splashtop Inc. launched its Splashtop Remote product in August 2010. Splashtop Remote became the top selling iPad application in a number of countries.[15]
