St Xavier’s School, Alipurduar , is a Co-educational English Medium School, owned and managed by Francis Xavier Educational Institution, established and administered by the Jesuits of Darjeeling Province. The school campus is situated 9 km from Alipurduar town. The temporary class rooms and Jesuit residence was blessed by the Bishop of Jalpaiguri on 25th March 2011. The classes began with five students in the first year and the number grew to twenty one in the following year. In March, 2014, students were shifted to the main building and 300 students joined the very year.  We have 900 children in this academic year. Our goal is to impart higher education with integral formation which involves academic excellence, spiritual growth, social commitment and value based leadership. We try to form our students to become young men and women of integrity, educated in faith and for justice, committed to academic excellence and service of others.

Patron of the School[edit]

Francis Xavier, S.J. was a Navarrese Roman Catholic missionary, who was a co-founder of the Society of Jesus.

School's Vision[edit]

Following the Gospel value and Ignatian Spirituality, St. Xavier's School aims at forming the young to be men and women for others.
