State Champion Records is an American record label that is based out of New Jersey.
About
The label was founded by Screaming Females' bassist Mike Abbate and Tracy Robinson, in April 2016.[1] The label books shows, provides networking, makes press releases, and distributes limited edition vinyl, compact disc, and cassette releases, as well as digital downloads.[2][3] State Champion Records artists are from the New Jersey and New York region of the United States.[4] Their label launch show was held at the independent community radio WFMU's Monty Hall, in Jersey City, New Jersey, on July 9, 2017, with Spowder, Snakeskin and Decoration.[2] State Champion Records partook in the North Jersey Indie Rock Festival on October 6, 2018.
