StealthChat is an encrypted mobile messaging app for both iOS and Android. The application provides a fully encrypted end to end communication channel between individuals and unlimited groups. Communication can be through 1 to 1 chat, 1 to many group chat, person to person (P2P) Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) calls, voice messages, file sharing and picture sharing.[1]
StealthChat was developed by Rockliffe Systems, Inc. Rockliffe is based in Campbell, CA and has subsidiaries in the United Kingdom and in Indonesia. Rockliffe has been developing secure desktop and mobile communications software since 1995.[2]
Features[edit]
The StealthChat application provides end-to-end encryption based on OTR (Off the Record) and also supports SSL/TLS encryption. As a result, all of the communication between users is secure and only be decrypted by the recipient. In addition, StealthChat blocks screenshots on Android and the optional "Burn" feature provides for self-destructing messages to protect the confidentiality of all types of communication sent through the app.[3]
