Stephen Damian (born 26 September 1992) is a Nigerian television and film actor, model and voice actor. He is best known for his role in The Wedding Party alongside Adesua Etomi and Banky W, and as a top 10 finalist at the 2014 Mr Nigeria competition[1].
Early Life[edit]
Damian was born in Onitsha in Anambra state, southeast Nigeria. He grew up in Yaoundé, Cameroon and later Minna, Niger state. In 2014, he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Statics from the University of Benin.[2]
Career[edit]
After graduating from the University in 2014, Damian moved to Lagos, where he participated in the Mr. Ideal Nigeria pageant competition, where he was awarded as “Mr. Picture perfect”.[2][1] He also contested for the Mr. Nigeria[3] competition and made it to the top 10.
Damian featured in his debut Nollywood film tiled Remember Me in 2014, the movie was produced by Uru Eke and directed by Izu Ojukwu. In 2016, he had a feature role in the hugely successful The Wedding Party movie, directed by Kemi Adetiba. He has also featured in other notable Nigerian movies including, Disguise, Mr and Mrs (Chapter 2),[4] Slow Country, Little White Lie, The Wedding, Tatu and many more.
