Strawberrynet (SBN) is a global online retailer that offers beauty products like makeup, skincare,[1] body care, fragrances, home scents and health care.[2]
Strawberrynet was founded in 1998,[3] with its headquarters located in Hong Kong. The company was acquired by Eastern Media International Corporation (EMG) in 2018.[4]
History and leadership[edit]
The company’s name Strawberrynet was inspired by fresh strawberries. It represents “Fresh Beauty” with the concept of “One Net One World”.[5] Rodney Miles (former CEO) founded the company in 1998 as a bricks-and-mortar shop. The company went completely digital in 2000.[6]
In April 2022, Jenny Ng became the CEO of the company.
Partnerships[edit]
Strawberrynet has partnered with different marketplaces in China including TMall Global, Xiaohongshu dangdang. In 2021, hoolah announced a regional partnership[7] with Strawberrynet to offer customers a Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) payment method in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia.

Strawberrynet has average annual sales of about HK$1.1 billion (US$140.13 million). In January 2018, Eastern Home Shopping & Leisure Co Ltd (EHS) acquired a 76 percent stake in Hong Kong-based Strawberry Cosmetic Holdings Limited BVI for NT$1.06 billion (US$35.51 million).[12]
