Stuart Thorburn (born 3 May 1968) is a Scottish footballer who played as a Defender for Livingston.[1]
Playing career[edit]
The defender's first club was Gala Fairydean Rovers and was part of the squad that played Celtic in the Fairydean Challenge in 1989.[2]
He started his professional career with Meadowbank Thistle and made 33 appearances for the club, scoring one goal.[3]
Thorburn remained at the club as they were renamed and relocated to Livingston in 1995. He made 6 appearances for the club, with three of them coming from off the bench. The defender's first start for Livi was in a 3-1 victory over Queen's Park in the Scottish Football League Third Division 10 January 1996.[4]
The defender departed Livi in 1996 and went on to play for East of Scotland Football League side Whitehill Welfare.[5]
