Sudeep Palanad is an Indian playback singer and composer in the Malayalam film industry from Kerala. He became notable with the song Alhamdulillah from the film Sufiyum Sujatayum.[1] He is the son of famous Kathakali musician Palanad Divakaran. He made his musical debut by singing Kathakalipadam. Vellinezhi Subramanian and Punnapuzha Ramanathan are the first music teachers . In addition to being a singer, he is also a sound engineer. He has worked as an assistant to music director Ouseppachan in several films.

Career[edit]

He made her film debut in 2014 with the song 'Eran Kannilo' from the movie Appothikiri. Karie, released in 2015 directed by Naranipuzha Shanavas., was the first film to have music. He later composed music for the films Shikhamani, Avicharita and Lasagu Usaga.

Sudeep was born in Kattuppara, a small village in Pulamanthole Panchayath in Malappuram district. His sister Deepa Palanad, one of the few women kathakali sangeetham singers of the State[2]
