Sunod is a 2019 Filipino horror film directed by Carlos Ledesma.
Plot[edit]
Olivia, whose daughter was Anelle was ill, found a job at as a call center agent to pay for her daughter's hospital expenses. The building where she works at was a former hospital that was converted into an office building. One night, as she was leaving the office, Olivia encounters Nerisa while a power outrage ensures. She took her out of the building and Nerisa suddenly disappears. The next morning, Olivia found out that no power outrage happened last night, and her daughter Anelle suddenly have a seizure. In the elevator, Olivia was taken to the basement where she was haunted.
Upon arriving at the hospital, the doctors told her that Anelle was suddenly cured, much to their surprise. Lance, their team leader at the office, took advantage of Olivia but she resisted. He bribed Olivia with a large sum of money that she used to pay for their hospital expenses, in exchange for not revealing the truth about what happened between them.
At home, Olivia is haunted with different visions of a mysterious black figure, including one which included a possessed Anelle. Lance was then killed by a mysterious woman at the basement. Olivia notices changes in Anelle's personality, and she became suspicious. She eventually learns that Nerisa possessed Anelle, who was looking for her mother. She agreed to help Nerisa to find her mother, and also found out that Nerisa was involved in Lance's death.
