Tan Man Neel-o-Neel is a 2024 Pakistani television miniseries produced by Sultana Siddiqui, concluding her trilogy on mob violence, which also includes Mann Jogi and Nadaan.[1] It is directed by Saife Hassan and written by Mustafa Afridi. It stars Sehar Khan and Shuja Asad in lead roles. The series premiered on 7 December 2024 on Hum TV.
Plot
Sonu Danger, an aspiring dancer, faces exploitation and unfair pay while performing at college events and weddings. His struggles are compounded by strained relationships with his family, particularly his mother. Rabi, an ambitious YouTuber, dreams of fame and financial independence, supported by her mother.
However, her cousin Kami's intentions to marry her threaten to derail her aspirations. Unbeknownst to Rabi, Kami becomes embroiled in a horrific crime when Bao Qaiser, a ruthless political leader, hires him to orchestrate artificial mob violence.
At a local college event, Sonu meets Rabi, who interviews him for her YouTube channel. Initially hesitant, Sonu agrees to the interview, which unexpectedly garners a positive response. Sonu's dance group faces a dark turn when the manager of the group, Moon is sexually harassed by Bao Qaiser in an event hosted by Bao. Instead of helping him, Sonu remains silent, failing to offer even a word of support despite noticing his friend's condition.
Rabi decides to meet Sonu again to thank him for the interview. However, Kami notices them together and threatens Rabi to stay away from Sonu.
That night, Rabi contacts Sonu again to discuss a potential partnership. The next day, they meet to discuss the details, but Sonu is hesitant, preferring to avoid social media.
However, Sonu soon needs Rabi's help when his dance group requires a professional-quality video. Rabi lends her expertise, and together they create a dance video. During filming, they realize that one of the dancers, Moon, is struggling.
Sonu requests the group to re-record the dance, but Moon refuses, angrily confronting Sonu for not supporting him during a difficult time. Rabi intervenes, encouraging Sonu to stand up for his friend and not behave cowardly. Ultimately, they both confront their shortcomings, and Sonu finds the courage to support Moon.
Later, Sonu drops Rabi off at her house, where Kami threatens him to stay away from her. Rabi learns about the threat through Sonu and informs Kami's father, who reprimands Kami.
Meanwhile, Moon visits the police station to file a report, but the officer refuses to register an FIR, citing Moon's profession as the reason for the assault.
