The cloud-based dental practice management software Dentaltap was created by Tap Medical (formerly Dental Cloud), which was founded by Jaro Osetrov in 2014. Each year, 2,500 professionals worldwide create accounts and digital dentistry in Dentaltap software.
History
In 2015, company raised venture capital funding from Imperious Group [1] fund and started building its software. In 2017, the team was accelerated in Vietnam Innovative Startup Accelerator (VISA) and started selling their software in the Asia Pacific region and around the world. [2] In 2021, analytical and research company GoodFirms recognized Dentaltap as the best dental practice software. [3] The company is headquartered in Hong Kong. The company has a partner network with representatives in Asia Pacific[4], Middle East, Europe, and USA.
Product features
The software automates[5] key areas of a dental practice - office tasks, treatment processes and patient communication. The “Integration Store” provides functionality for connecting third-party equipment and applications from other vendors - more than 50 dental solutions are available via API. In the “Patient Portal” section of the program, patients have access to their medical history and other treatment information. A mobile app [6] is available for iOS and Android operating systems that can work standalone or in conjunction with the web version. A Progressive Web App (PWA) version of the app is also available. Dentaltap software can be installed as a private cloud on the clinic's or cloud provider's servers or on the dentist's laptop.
