Tap for Tap was a mobile app ad exchange network[1] founded in Victoria, British Columbia by Todd Dunlop and Eric Dyck in April 2012.[2] The Tap for Tap network allowed app developers to cross-promote their app by exchanging ad placements[3] within apps in the network. Tap for Tap worked with mobile iOS and Android applications. The company claimed in 2012 to take 20% of clicks as its margin.[4] Developers bought advertisement space via an auction based system, which as of February 2013 was $0.03 (plus $0.40 for the install).[5]

The company was acquired by Pretio Interactive in 2014.[6] Pretio was acquired by Bold Collective in 2021.[7][non-primary source needed]
