Technical Communities, is a privately funded company, headquartered in San Bruno, California. Technical Communities manages contracts, sales, marketing and procurement for technical organizations that sell to U.S. government agencies, military organizations, and prime federal contractors through GSA schedules.
History[edit]
Technical Communities has ranked in the listing of Top 250 GSA Vendors for several years, which is a ranking of companies by sales revenue from the General Services Administration. In the 200s, the company ranked 215th in 2005; 119th in 2006, with sales of US$45 million; and 76th in 2007.[2][3]
Technical Communities opened an office in Herndon, Virginia in 2009 to take better advantage of government contracting opportunities and contact opportunities in the Washington DC area.[4]
In 2012, the company ranked 4,590 on the Inc. 5000, which lists private companies by their growth rate.[1] The company remained in the 4000s on this list between 2009 and 2012, but was substantially higher in 2008, ranking 1,934.[1]
