He started his channel in 2013.[1], and has since then amassed a following of more than 6 million subscribers on YouTube and over about a total of 736M million views on all of his videos[2]
Career[edit]
He started his channel on October 29, 2013, two days before Halloween. Technoblade also owned another channel named StudioLore[3] 4 years before, now unused. He is also in the Dream SMP.
YouTube[edit]
Technoblade's channel was started on October 29, 2013.
The majority of his videos are made on the popular Minecraft server known as "Hypixel", although sometimes he records on different servers too. His video upload schedule is infamous for the gaps between each video, ranging from a week to a month at times. He also streams on YouTube, which are recorded and uploaded to YouTube for future reviewing. He is part of the quadruple known as Sleepyboisinc with other Minecraft YouTubers Ph1lzA, Wilbur Soot, and TommyInnit, and is often featured in streams of theirs.
Tournaments[edit]
Minecraft Mondays[edit]
Minecraft Mondays was an event hosted by Keemstar, in which YouTubers could team up against other YouTubers for a chance at $10,000 split among the winning team, though this quickly changed in the third week to $5,000.
YouTubers that also participated in this event include James Charles, PewDiePie, Jschlatt, MrBeast, DanTDM, CaptainSparklez, Skeppy, and several others. Technoblade is known as one of the best players in the event, with YouTubers often running away from him if they see Technoblade running towards them.[4]
Eventually, Technoblade was given the unique chance to win a role in Hypixel named "[PIG]" for a week if he won the tournament. This eventually upgraded all the way to "[PIG+++]" rank, and Technoblade won a total of around $15,000 dollars in this event. Technoblade was a contestant in Minecraft Monday Week 1 as a member of team 16 with ShotGunRaids, with the two winning the week. He later competed in Week 2 as a member of team 3 where he won again with IBallisticSquid. He later competed in Week 3 as a member of team 3 with ChrisO2. Techno returned in Week 4 as a member of team 1 with James Charles. He was one of the contestants in Week 5 where he was placed on team 13 with CallMeCarson. Techno was also a contestant in Week 6 where he was placed on team 2 and won along with Jschlatt. He also competed in Week 7 as a member of team 9 with Junky Janker. He competed in Week 8 as a member of team 10 with DanTDM. Techno later returned in Week 9 as a member of team 7 with JackSucksAtLife. In Week 10 he got placed on team 4 and won the week along with Ph1LzA. He participated in Week 11 as a member of team 6 with ConnorEatsPants. Techno was also a competitor in Week 12 where he was placed on team 1 with Ninja. He also returned for Week 13 as a member of team 1 with Wilbur Soot.
Technoblade is currently meant to compete in the first week of the Postponed Minecraft Monday Season 2.
Week 1[edit]
In the first Minecraft Monday event, Technoblade teamed up with ShotGunRaids to compete as Team 16. The duo won four of the ten hunger games matches in the event. They earned a total of 1156 points, allowing them to win the entire event. Technoblade also had a solo score of 638, putting him in first place individually.
Week 2[edit]
In the second Minecraft Monday event, Technoblade teamed up with IBallisticSquid to compete as Team 3. The duo won four of the nine hunger games matches in the event. They earned a total of 1096 points, allowing them to win the entire event. This would be Techno's second win in a row and Squid's first. Technoblade also had a solo score of 714, putting him in first place individually yet again.
Week 3[edit]
In the third Minecraft Monday event, Technoblade teamed up with ChrisO2 to compete as Team 3. Minigames other than hunger games were introduced in the event. Techno won the third round of spleef, three rounds of the dropper, three rounds of TNT run, the lava run parkour, the battle arena, and placed fifth in the speed parkour. They earned a total of 1146 points, placing them in 3rd place. Technoblade also had a solo score of 937, putting him in first place individually.
Week 4[edit]
In the fourth Minecraft Monday event, Technoblade was teamed up with James Charles to compete as Team 1. Techno won one round of TNT run and three rounds of the dropper. They earned a total of 1153 points, placing them in 4th place. Technoblade also had a solo score of 504, putting him in 3rd place individually.
Week 5[edit]
In the fifth Minecraft Monday event, Technoblade was teamed up with CallMeCarson to compete as Team 13. Because Carson needed to leave early, Carson pretended to "sabotage" Techno as a joke. This ended up starting beef between Techno and Carson's fanbase. Carson started receiving threats and hate even from his own fans. The team separated and started hopping into calls with different people. Carson would end his stream early due to the negativity. The duo was still successful thanks to the difference in personality. Techno won all three rounds of TNT run, three rounds of the Dropper, beat the Lava Run parkour, and was victorious in the final hunger games all by himself. They earned a total of 832 points, placing them in 5th place. Technoblade also had a solo score of 763, putting him in 2nd place individually.
Week 6[edit]
In the sixth Minecraft Monday event, Technoblade teamed up with Jschlatt to compete as Team 2. The duo ended up winning the event by less than 20 points. This would be Techno's third and Schlatt's first win. Techno won one round of the Dropper and all three rounds of TNT run once again, giving him a six-round win streak. They earned a total of 1280 points, allowing them to win. Schlatt had a solo score of 449, placing him in 18th place individually. Technoblade also had a solo score of 831, putting him in first place individually for the fourth time. This week had many issues, especially in Build Battle. The players were allowed to break blocks they weren't supposed to. Techno went on a rampage, destroying people's builds and attempted to spawn the wither.
Week 7[edit]
In the seventh Minecraft Monday event, Technoblade was teamed up with Junky Janker to compete as Team 9. Techno and Junky won both rounds of the hunger games and one round of the Dropper. They earned a total of 1449 points, placing them in 2nd place, literally two points behind BadBoyHalo and Skeppy in first place. Technoblade also had a solo score of 921, putting him in first place individually for the fifth time. This week was quite controversial due to the final scoring and a few of the bugs during the event. During Build Battle, most of the contestants were stuck in the ground. There were no admins around to help them as they were dealing with a DDoS attack on the public server. Techno was able to click fast enough and lag through the blocks to free himself. Junky was still trapped forcing Techno to build a wedding himself. There was talk about not including Build Battle. During One-Shot, multiple contestants spawned outside of the waiting area. They were able to attack each other, giving them extra points. BadBoyHalo was one of those people and was able to earn some points that assisted them to a win. In the end, the event was declared a draw by the organizers, and the earnings were given to charity.
Week 8[edit]
In the eighth Minecraft Monday event, Technoblade was teamed up with DanTDM to compete as Team 10. Techno and Dan won two rounds of the hunger games and the Kit PVP game. They earned a total of 1021 points, placing them in 2nd place. Technoblade also had a solo score of 655, putting him in 2nd place individually.
Week 9[edit]
In the ninth Minecraft Monday event, Technoblade was teamed up with JackSucksAtLife to compete as Team 7. Techno won two rounds of TNT run. They earned a total of 1327 points, placing them in 5th place. Technoblade also had a solo score of 918, putting him in first place individually for the sixth time.
Week 10[edit]
In the tenth Minecraft Monday event, Technoblade teamed up with Ph1LzA to compete as Team 4. The duo was the most successful in Minecraft Monday history. Techno and Phil won both rounds of the survival games, all three rounds of Sky Wars, one round of TNT run, and one round of Spleef. They earned a record total of 1892 points, allowing them to win the entire event 500 points ahead of second. Technoblade also had a record solo score of 1080, putting him in first place individually for the seventh time.
Week 11[edit]
In the eleventh Minecraft Monday event, Technoblade teamed up with ConnorEatsPants to compete as Team 6. . Techno and Conor won three rounds of Replica, one round of Sky Wars, and one round of TNT run. They earned a record total of 1295 points, placing them in 3rd place. Technoblade also had a solo score of 813, putting him in 2nd place individually.
Week 12[edit]
In the twelfth Minecraft Monday event, Technoblade teamed up with Ninja to compete as Team 1. . Techno and Ninja won three rounds of Replica, one round of Sky Wars, and placed fifth in Speed Parkour. They earned a record total of 1280 points, placing them in 3rd place. Technoblade also had a solo score of 879, putting him in 2nd place individually.
Week 13[edit]
In the thirteenth Minecraft Monday event, Technoblade teamed up with Wilbur Soot to compete as Team 1. Techno and Wilbur won two rounds of Spleef, one round of TNT run, and four rounds of Replica. They earned a record total of 1292 points, placing them in 3rd place. Technoblade also had a solo score of 763, putting him in 3rd place individually.
Week 14[edit]
Minecraft Mondays was cancelled in the unforeseen incident of a hacker in the server, and Technoblade instead went onto Hypixel and played with 7 others: in Party Games, eventually tying for first.[5]
