Tel K. Ganesan is an Indian American entrepreneur and movie producer. He is the Founder and Chairman of Kyyba Inc., a Michigan based staff augmentation and tech solutions company.[1].
Early life and education[edit]
Tel K. Ganesan was born in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India[2]. Ganesan graduated from the College of Engineering, Guindy, Chennai where he earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering. He immigrated to U.S. in 1989 and received his MS in Mechanical Engineering from Wayne State University in Michigan. Ganesan also holds an EMBA in Business Administration and Management from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business, University of Michigan.
Career[edit]
After graduating in 1991, Ganesan began his career at Chrysler (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) Then he moved out of the enterprise and started his own new firm, Kyyba, an IT staffing firm[1]. In 2016, he became the Chairman of Kyyba Inc.[2]
Ganesan entered into movie production and in 2017 founded his own production and distribution company titled, Kyyba Films[3]. He co-produced two horror movies - Devil's Night: Dawn of the Nain Rouge and Celebrity Crush. In 2017. Noted south indian actor Napoleon [4] and actor/music composer G.V Prakash also starred in these movies[5].
As of 2019, Kyyba has reported to be a $60 million revenue company. The organization has a global presence with offices in Dallas, New Jersey, Toronto-Canada and four in India. He recently met with the U.S Vice Presidential nominee Kamala Harris to convey his support for her in the upcoming elections[6][7]
