Tero Puustinen (born 1982) is a Finnish coach, entrepreneur, and sports medicine professional. He is known for his work as a national team coach for both motorsport and equestrian athletes, his role in the commercialization of the CorFlux medical technology project, and as the CEO of the AI-based stock trading startup Invest AIQ.
Career and education
Puustinen earned his Master of Health Sciences degree in sports medicine from the University of Eastern Finland.[1]
He has worked for almost two decades in the fields of sports performance, health promotion, and entrepreneurship, combining academic expertise with applied coaching and business leadership.
Coaching career
Puustinen has served as a coach for the AKK Driver Academy, responsible for the physical, psychological, and nutritional training of Finland’s top young racing drivers.[2][3]
In addition to motorsport, Puustinen has worked as a national team coach for the Finnish Equestrian Federation, focusing on both physical and mental performance coaching for elite riders.[4][5][6]
From 2024 to 2025, Puustinen was based in Monaco working for Hintsa Performance as a high-performance coach in motorsport.
CorFlux project
Puustinen has been a Business Developer in CorFlux, a medical technology project focused on assessing aortic aneurysm rupture risk. In 2024, CorFlux competed in the Tartu sTARTUp Day pitching competition[7] and in Joensuu won the research-based business idea category of the StartMeUp competition.[8]
