Terry McKenzie (born March 23, 1982 in East Orange, New Jersey, U.S.) is a former American professional basketball player who primarily plays the small forward or shooting guard position.
Basketball career[edit]
High school[edit]
McKenzie graduated from Bloomfield High School in 2000.
College[edit]
McKenzie attended Bloomfield College in Bloomfield, New Jersey and Alfred State College in Alfred, New York.
Professional[edit]
Mckenzie had an unsuccessful NBA pre-draft workout with the Indiana Pacers and NBDL team Fort Wayne Mad Ants. His try-out with Indiana was cut short when he tore his gastrocnemius muscle. He signed with the Melbourne Tigers in 2005 where he played 2 seasons (73) games in the NBL, and amassed a total of 517 rebounds, 237 assist, 121 blocks, 96 steals and 1,549 points with a (22.1) points per game average.
Personal[edit]
Due to injuries, McKenzie played two seasons for the Melbourne Tigers in Australia (2004). He moved back to the United States to pursue a career in business, and currently resides in Wake Forest, NC.
