The Altogether (Originally Scott and Gilbert) is an American Folk Rock band originally from Baltimore. The band consists of Brian David Gilbert and Sierra Scott as vocalists, and Jonah Scott as an instrumentalist and backing vocals.[1] Their first original song titled "Flower and the Weed" was uploaded to Youtube on December 6, 2012. [2] Their first EP, Look Up, was released on January 23rd, 2018.[3]

2012-2016[edit]
Scott and Gilbert[edit]
Brian David Gilbert and Jonah Scott first started recording and performing music together as freshmen at Johns Hopkins University in 2012.[4] While they did not put out any albums or EPs, they released 22 songs on their Youtube Chanel between 2012 and 2016.
2018[edit]
Look Up[edit]
In January of 2018, Brian and Jonah announced that they had moved to Brooklyn, and that they had changed their name to The Altogether. Shortly thereafter, they released Look Up as their first EP on Bandcamp.[3] Sierra Scott was featured as a backing vocalist on one track.
When We Were Kids[edit]
The Altogether's second EP, When We Were Kids, was released in December 2018, and featured Sierra as a lead vocalist on multiple tracks. Additionally, she was listed as a full member of The Altogether for this EP.[1]
2019[edit]
Dogs at the Beach[edit]
In June of 2019, a new single, Dogs at the Beach was released on Bandcamp. Unlike the other music from The Altogether, this song featured only Jonah Scott as the writer, performer, and producer of the track.
