The Armoloy Corporation, commonly referred to as Armoloy, is a multinational service provider of industrial surface coating and plating technologies. Based in DeKalb, Illinois, United States, Armoloy designs and develops surface coatings for functional improvements of metal components used in manufacturing processes.[1]
The Armoloy Corporation was established in 1957 by Larry F. Jarres and Jerome F. Bejbl. A privately held company, Armoloy is family-owned and operated by Jacob Meier and Nolan Hannan.[2] Armoloy serves industries that include aerospace, petroleum, nuclear, food packaging, healthcare, injection molding, and automation.[3]
Armoloy has 18 franchise locations in six countries.[4] The company's mission is to improve the performance and longevity of industrial applications through surface optimization and improved wear resistance. Armoloy's TDC (thin dense chrome) and XADC (diamond chrome) reduce erosion, abrasion, friction, and contact fatigue, increasing resistance to corrosion and oxidation, and enhancing insulation and conductivity.[5]
