The Death Story of Sohrab (Persian: مرگ نامهء سهراب) is a 2017 Iranian Film Drama History Written and Directed by Farshad Ahmadi Dastgerdi.
This movie was make by Farshad Ahmadi Dastgerdi, one of the Iranian documentarians.[1]
This movie is a free interpretation of the story of Rostam and Sohrab from Ferdowsi's Shahnameh and is also a work in the development of Iranian stories. The movie took about two years to make and all the scenes were taken in Isfahan.[2] [3]
Storyline[edit]
A minstrel, by name of Kamos, is in presence of Rostam. This minstrel told tales for the people as tale of Sohrab with Rostam. Rostam is in believe that the minstrel told this tale, the tale of Sohrab's death, told on the contrrary of true occurence and wrong. He asks the minstrel why? Now by Rostam's question of the minstrel, the other story begins, which is starter of our tale...
