Formed in 2012 The International Press and Media Group underwent significant corporate restructuring in 2015 and again in 2017.[1][2][3][4]

Pre 2015[edit]

The International Press and Media Group published political magazines and newspapers in the UK, USA, Russia, Turkey, Japan and Middle East. The group consisted of an umbrella company with national subsidiaries. The best selling publication was The International newspaper with circa 290k daily readers followed by the monthly magazine of the same name with 180k readers.

The International Press and Media Group Head Office was reported in the U.K. media to have burned down and news sites hacked in early 2015.

2015 to 2017[edit]

Re invented The International Press and Media Group's publications moved away from controversial politics and law to art, business, culture and positivity. Publications such as IPMG News and "IPMG Africa" soon became associated with good news and artistic flare. Daily newspapers started to publish "Combatting Prejudice" highlighting positive stories in topics shown in negative coverage by other mainstream media.

The International Press and Media Group's code of Ethics "Al-Said Code" was adopted by many Global News Corporations including Qatar based Al Jazeera.[5][6]

The International Press and Media Group started work with Russia Today in order to produce documentaries, interviews and news content world wide in a variety of languages.

Post 2017[edit]

The Global Chief Executive officer stepped down due to poor health and became Group CFO, a position also resigned in the first half of 2017.

The Group was taken over by royalty from Oman and UAE including: The Sultan of Oman Qaboos bin Said Al Said, The Emir of Dubai Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, The Sheikh of Oman Shamsaldin Qais Sulayman al-Said and the Sheikha of Oman S.A. al-Said.[7][8]

The Group purchased Al-Sahawat Times from the Oman Media Group in January 2017. [9][10][11]

The company was split into multiple subsidiaries in the U.K. South Africa, UAE and Oman with offices opened across the globe in Europe, The Americas, Africa, Middle East, South Asia, East Asia and Australia.[12]

Became the main subsidiaries of the group.

Shares for the group reaches a peak of $589.58 in July 2017. valuing the group at $5.9 billion USD.[13]

IPMG Technologies[edit]

In 2017, IPMG opened the subsidiary IPMG Technologies.

The focus of the tech-arm of the group appeared to be focused on News and Media technologies, in particular readership verification, analytics and artificial intelligence.[17]

Ask TUKI® was arguably the most successful technology project of 2017.[18] The questions and answer forum meets virtual assistant utilised artificial intelligence, expert human in put and peer to peer information sharing to integrate into operating systems, websites and applications.[19][20]

Ethics & Charity[edit]

IPMG's publications follow a very strict code of ethics[21] working closely with numerous charities[22] around the world and operating a second chance program[23] offering training, healthcare, education, housing and work to those in need.[24][25][26]

IPMG also run a year round collection of clothing, food and survival equipment for the homeless.[27]
