The Living Legends of Mithila is a 2017 non-fiction book written by Vivekanand Jha. It contains 25 short biographies of people from the Mithila region whom Jha considers to be eminent.[1][2] The book was translated into Hindi by Lucky Rani Parmar and Inderjeet Singh Parmar under the title Mithila kay Adhunik Diggaj (मिथिला के आधुनिक दिग्गज). The biographies include those of Bindeshwar Pathak, Jagannath Mishra, Birbal Jha and Gyan Sudha Misra.[3]
