The Musicians

The Musicians is a strings ensemble/piano trio in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is located at different locations throughout the year. It is a non-profit organization that performs a series of concerts to raise money for various charities. It also provides musical education and development for young musicians. The musicians participated in many local, national, and international music festivals. Music Director is Zi Yao Sun.[1]

The Musicians are learning classical pieces such as Ludwig van Beethoven Violin Sonata No.5, Op.24, The Four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldi, and Archduke Trio by Ludwig van Beethoven. They have won first place in the Little Mozart International Competition at Carnegie Hall, New York. The following year they have won another first place award in the Crescendo International Music Competition[2]. They played a variety of pieces from movie themes such as Star Wars, Spiderman, and Harry Potter to classical pieces such as Beethoven's sonata.
