The OG Crew is an Australian comedy troupe, formed in Sydney in 2024. The group consists of Abby Boom, Akila Amaratunga, Alan Fang, Andrew Hamilton and Samantha Walsh.
Format
Their YouTube channel features the troupe performing a series of comedic games and segments, such as Truth or Drink, Fear Pong, Mystery Link, Deathbed Roasts and other games. The channel also features special episodes, react videos, compilations and behind the scenes content - either through long-form or short-form videos.
The videos feature all five members of the group, along with appearances from fellow comedians Chloe Maddren, Nikki Justice and Rodney Todd.
History
Prior to the channel's founding, the group was part of another YouTube channel called YeahMad. However, due to issues surrounding their contracts with that channel's producers, Boom and Hamilton left the group in late 2023 and early 2024. Amaratunga, Fang and Walsh left the group in solidarity once their contracts expired in 2024[1].[unreliable source]
The channel launched on September 11, 2024. The channel reached 1 million subscribers in March 2025.
