It was first a public house in 1847 having previously been a blacksmith
The Rothschild Arms was purchased by the current owners in January 2020 from Punch Taverns
The story of the villages fight to save the pub after planning permission was granted to convert it to housing was covered by various media including The Morning Advertiser [1]
The pub has now been transformed and is themed throughout
