The Sound Psychologist is a techno music, electronic experimental artist/band created by musician Thomas J Dimitry Danger Ryan in 2015,based in Ludington Michigan. The band was created after he stopped using the alias N0B.
The sound Psychologist uses analog synths, and relies on max/Msp for generated audio[1], and controlling the DAW Ableton Live
The Sound Psychologist is now the official flagship artist of the Small brain Records label.[2]
The name/ Philosophy[edit]
The name "The Sound Psychologist" comes from the philosophy that certain combinations of frequencies, if played int the right sequences can evoke emotions, and change behavior in humans.[3]By crafting frequencies into songs, it makes one able to change peoples attitude, and emotions while creating a art piece.
the term Psychology is the study of human emotions, and motives, Etc. and by being a craftsman of frequencies, you become a Psychologist that uses sound as his medium.
