The Wedding Cottage is a 2023 American drama television film directed by Terry Ingram, and starring Erin Krakow, Brendan Penny, Drew Henderson, and Matreya Scarrwener.[1][2]
The film is being produced by Wedding Cottage Road Productions Ltd and distributed by Lifetime. It will air on Saturday, April 15, 2023.[2][3]
Plot
In a marketing contest allowing one lucky couple an all-expense wedding to promote her new book, *Tying the Knot: A Wedding Guide*, Vanessa Doyle's new book. The winning couple must make it happen fast as the would-be groom (Henderson) is in the military and is about to be deployed, and the would-be bride is finishing her graduate school education. The couple selects the closed Wedding Cottage for their marriage.[1]
Artist Evan Sutherland, the owner of the Cottage, inherited it from his grandparents but has been living in it while waiting to find his muse for his next masterpiece. He has no plans to reopen the Cottage to anyone.[1]
Vanessa, in hopes of giving the winning couple the wedding of their dreams, must try to change Evan's mind in just five weeks. With Vanessa's work, Evan learns how much the Cottage means to the town and residents of Stony Brook.[1]
