The Writers Community is an Indian freelance marketplace website,[1] which allows potential employers to post jobs that freelancers can then bid to complete.[2] Founded in 2020, its headquarters is located in Uttar Pradesh, India, though it also has offices in Noida, India.[3]
Description
The Writers Community is a marketplace where employers and employees are able to find each other.[4] It is a platform for freelancers that provided more than 300 job opportunities for freelancers during the pandemic of 2020 and trained 60 students of eminent universities.[5] It introduced a universal sample system and minimum pay rates system in the Indian freelancing industry.[6] People can get freelance jobs and training from Writers Community. Most of the Writers Community's users come from India. The top three job categories that most frequently receive job requests are Academic Writing, 29%; Web Development and Data Entry, 24%; and other content writing, 14%. The Writers Community started its first project with Embibe, founded by Aditi Avasthi. The company has offices in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.[7]
Vision
The Writers Community envisions providing job opportunities to freelancers.[8] It is also developing its own educational content for quality education in rural areas of India. The primary vision of the Writers community is employment generation and a scam-free freelance world.[9]
Mission
The mission of the Writers Community is eco and budget-friendly freelance services.[10] The Writers Community is working on the creation of 1 million job opportunities for freelancers over India.[11]
