Thomas Huynh
Thomas Cuong Huynh (born 1973) is an author, translator, and scholar of the Chinese classic Sun Tzu's The Art of War.[1][not in citation given][2][not in citation given] He lives in Atlanta, Georgia in the United States.
Life and work[edit]
Thomas Cuong Huynh was born in Saigon, Vietnam, in 1973.[2][not in citation given] In 1999, Huynh founded Sonshi, an educational resource for Sun Tzu's The Art of War.[3] He wrote The Art of War: Spirituality for Conflict, a translation and verse-by-verse annotation coauthored with Marc Benioff and Thomas Cleary,[4][unreliable source] published in 2008.[1][not in citation given] Huynh received his master's of business degree from Vanderbilt University,[5] and teaches Sun Tzu's principles in business.[6][not in citation given][7] At a Talks at Google presentation he discussed concepts on how to succeed in competition.[3] In 2008, Bloomberg BusinessWeek selected him as among the most engaged contributors of the year.[8][dead link] Huynh started Cuong in 2020 to focus on Asian-American issues.[9]
