Born Tiffany Dickerson in Little Rock, Arkansas, Tiffany is an American poet, children's book and fiction writer. Under the pseudonym, Tiffany Desiree, she became well-known for her children's books publications, via U.S. Publisher: LolliWolliWorld. Fruity Land Kidz is an adventure series focused on bringing awareness to poaching, deforestation and animal extinction. Each book takes children on a journey through various continents, Islands, and countries. Tiffany primarily writes about African and Asian elephants. She is part Tsonga (Shangaan) of Mozambique. Writing for LolliWolliWorld has brought Tiffany closer to Africa as her ancestors migrated to America via Latin America.

Early Life[edit]

Tiffany left Arkansas at 3-years old. Once arriving in Seattle, Washington, she faced many struggles as a multiracial child. Tiffany was placed into ELL classes, which she recalls as sagacious. Under her second alias, INFJ - The Outgoing Introvert [1], Tiffany used her platform to connect with other introverts alike. In doing so, she was published in Susan Caines, Quiet Revolutionaries Series [2]. Tiffany spoke about her desire to reconnect with Seattle as an introvert with a wild imagination, back in 2014.

Before becoming a full-time writer, Tiffany worked as a Public Affairs Reporter from 2007 - 2010 for KBCS 91.3, which focused on issues affecting immigrant communities. Later, she briefly worked as a promoter for Movin 92.5 in 2013, under Tiffany Dickerson. During her time as a reporter, she had the pleasure of shaking Barack Obama's hand at the Key Arena (downtown Seattle), around 2008. [3]

As an advocate for sexual assault awareness, In 2011, Tiffany Desiree starred in Perjury as Catherine Hall [4]. She played a merciless attorney who helped to suppress rape victims cases. In 2013, she submitted a gruesome piece of literature to the Seattle Writers Circle, which was unfortunately rejected. Later, she shortly worked as a writer for Culture Magazine. One of her first and most popular publications was Cannabis Invades the Stock Market [5].

Prior to graduating from Washington State University, as an honorary graduate in 2012, Tiffany Desiree attended Seattle Central Community College. Her studies focused on creative writing, international literature, queer poetry, and communications. Her early years at Seattle Central allowed her to acknowledge her bisexuality.

In 2017, Tiffany Desiree was featured as a guest blogger on Black Girl Nerds. Her opinion article spoke about nerdy Black women. [6].

Personal Life[edit]

In a 2019 Interview with Greg Ward from Bi.org [7], Tiffany spoke about her first love experience with a woman, coming out bisexual for the 2nd time, and the importance of identity. As a bisexual woman, Tiffany prides herself in focusing on literature that brings awareness to such a large, but a marginalized group. In honor of coming out for a second time, Tiffany released: Nature, Sex, and Culture: A Tree of Discombobulated Thoughts (Septemeber 23, 2018) [8].
