Tintin Match is a match-3 video game developed by the Danish studio 5th planet games. It is playable on android and iOS devices.
Gameplay[edit]
Tintin Match is a classic match-3 video game that takes place in the Tintin universe. In the game, players complete levels by swapping colored pieces on a game board to make a match of three or more of the same color, eliminating those pieces from the board and replacing them with new ones, which could potentially create further matches. Matches of four or more pieces create unique power-ups like canons or exploding mushrooms, with larger board-clearing abilities. The background, pieces, music and power-ups refer to the different adventures of Tintin. By finishing levels the player can unlock and complete diorama’s that are themed in one of the different albums.[1][2] Examples of diorama’s are: Brussels, Marlinspike or the Karaboudjan (ship).[3]
The game is considered free-to-play but contains microtransactions and in-game ads.[2]
Development[edit]
The game was developed by the Berlin studio of 5th planet games and released in august 2020. The game was developed in collaboration with Moulensart (IP-holder).[4]
Music[edit]
The music of the game was composed by the Austrian composer Markus Zierhofer.[5][6]
