Tioti Maati Toafa (born 18 November 1983 in Funafuti) is a Tuvaluan footballer who currently plays for Lakena United.[citation needed]
Personal life[edit]
Toafa is the son of Maatia Toafa, the former Prime Minister of Tuvalu.[citation needed]
International career[edit]
Tioti participated in 2008 with the Tuvalu national futsal team at the Oceanian Futsal Championship 2008,[1] he played six games.[citation needed]
In 2007, he participated with the Tuvalu national Rugby Union Sevens team at the 2007 Pacific Games.
In 2007 Toafa was the team manager of the fledgling Tuvalu national Badminton team at the inaugural Youth Olympic Games in Singapore in 2010.[2] The team he managed consisted of only four players[2] and had only one basic court in the country on which to practice.[2]
